Access Self Storage is happy to announce two partnerships with local charities for the holiday season. We are committed to helping our community and hope that you’ll consider making a donation towards one of these great organizations in addition to welcoming family, gifts, and celebrations this year.
Access Self Storage of Franklin Lakes and Access Self Storage of Oakland have connected with local charitable organizations and are participating in two programs.
Both sites are now collecting:
Non-perishable food items. These items will be donated to Eva’s Village in Paterson, NJ. Eva’s Village is an organization dedicated to fighting homelessness, poverty, addiction and for access to medical treatment for the poor. The soup kitchen now serves hot lunches for up to 400 homeless and working poor 365 days a year.
New, unwrapped toys. These toys will be donated to Rutgers University Big Chill Charity Race on December 8, 2013. The Big Chill is a unique event. It is a race that requires no registration fee nor a requirement to raise funds. Instead, participants are simply asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy worth $10 or more for a child between the ages of 3 and 14.
“We are honored to be teaming up with Eva’s Village and the Rutgers Big Chill Toy Drive this year. These charities are making great strides in our communities, and their missions are simple and passionate. We at Access believe that even the smallest donation can go a long way in making everyone’s holiday season a little brighter.” – Chris Feild, Manager
Access Self Storage is committed to making sure that those less fortunate in the community have a brighter holiday season and is proud to be associated with these two outstanding charitable organizations.
From our family to yours, we wish you a happy and safe holiday season!
