Military Storage for Extended Deployments and PCS Transfers

Orders arrive, a deployment date is set, and suddenly a full household of furniture, electronics, and family belongings needs somewhere to go for a year or more. Access Self Storage offers military storage built for exactly that situation, with flexible lease terms, climate-controlled units, and a range of sizes that can hold everything from a single room to the full contents of a home.

Storage That Holds a Household for the Long Haul

An overseas tour or extended assignment does not follow a tidy calendar. Lease terms that require renegotiation every few months create unnecessary friction when a service member is stationed abroad, and a family member may not be local to manage the paperwork. Our month-to-month leases continue without renegotiation, so the unit stays active, and the belongings inside stay put until orders change and it is time to retrieve them.

Unit sizes range from compact options for a partial household to larger spaces that fit furniture sets, appliances, and boxes from every room.

Climate-Controlled Units for Temperature-Sensitive Belongings

Wood furniture, electronics, musical instruments, and documents can all be affected by repeated temperature swings over a long storage period. A climate-controlled unit at Access Self Storage maintains a consistent temperature range year-round, which reduces the risk of warping, cracking, or deterioration that can occur in an unregulated space over twelve months or more. For a deployment that stretches well past a year, that consistency matters more than it does for a short-term rental.

Flexible Options for Service Members on Temporary Assignment or Base Transfers

Not every military storage situation involves a full household. Service members on temporary assignment or in the middle of a base transfer may need to store a portion of their belongings while they figure out their next permanent location. Our unit options cover that range, from smaller spaces for seasonal gear and personal items to mid-size units for furniture from a one- or two-bedroom home.

Because orders can shift, our month-to-month structure means you are never locked into a term that no longer fits your timeline. Rent for as long as the assignment runs, then close out the unit when you are ready to move on.
